Mohinder was in this episode for about 40 seconds. Discuss?

Well it was certainly the quickest way to get rid of someone. Alter his personality to the point where he suddenly shows no interest in stopping Sylar or Samuel and then ship him off to places unknown (India?).

I guess I'm supposed to be happy that at least he's alive.

So I guess Ando and Hiro are next on the chopping block? I feel like this show's aim is to eventually get rid of all non-white characters and fill the spots with sassy blondes.

Well, he's supposed to be in episodes 17 and 18 (not sure about 19 yet), so IDK. I'm confused. If this is really how they're getting rid of him, then it's incredibly lame, and if they're not getting rid of him and he's gonna be in the next episode, it was just incredibly pointless.

Maybe this episode was written when that whole Rex drama was going down... but would that fit into the time line?

I don't know, but I have a feeling that, since he's in the next two episodes, he'll be in the finale as well... for 10 seconds.

That's what I'm thinking too. This show used to have such a divers cast, people of various races and age groups, now we're only seeing dark haired white men and blonde white women. WTF!? At least when Lost wrote off all of their black characters they added in more minorities. Oh, excuse me. That's a good show.

Hero Bleach
I had noticed the prevalence of cloned blond chicks, but the loss of the minorities slipped past me. But now that you bring it to my attention it redoubles my irritation. The show has gotten to the point where the main reason we watch it is to see in which crazy ways they plan to distort the characters next.

Re: Hero Bleach
I don't have a problem with characters being written off when a show (any show) does it right. It can be the very nature of storytelling. However, when there are shared characteristics between who gets written off and who gets to stay/gets written on, characteristics that come back to stereotypes and/or the physical (and not what actually moves a story and characters forward), one can't help but question the intentions behind the scenes. With "Heroes" it's became painfully and irritatingly apparent.

I was wishing for more. When Mohinder told Noah he had to get back to his "girl" i am like wtf? this doesn't seem at ALL like the character we know as Mohinder. This whole season is bogus I think. I miss the good storylines of season 1. I fear for the future of this series. Samuel is a big joke and why did he want to kill Mohinder in the first place for some film that really has nothing at all on it. I know Mohinder is most likely to be gone with this season but I really hope they bring him back in season 5...revamped and being his own self once again.

I could not possibly agree more with that statement. Everything you just said is perfect. Mohinder was such a central character during the season one storylines, because it's like you were learning as he was learning. If someone from the future had come back and told me during season one that he would sort of be written off to go back to some girl who doesn't even accept him for who he is, I'd tell them that they're freakin crazy, but apparently...
